Pancevo Coker Project Announced

Congratulations to the NIS Pancevo Refinery – Newest Member of the Coker Family!

We wanted to be the first to welcome the NIS worldwide refinery outside Belgrade in the town of Pancevo to the coker family. Yes, maybe a bit premature because they are only in the front end design stage. Still a big step forward into the world of coking refineries for that plant and increased conversion capacity.

CB&I will be responsible for finding the optimum solution through the integration of their bottom of the barrel upgrading technology into the existing plants FCC and hydrocracker infrastructure. The use of CB&I as a coker licensor is a natural fit because the other upgrading units are also part of the CB&I family.

Prior to joining Becht, Evan worked for ExxonMobil Research and Engineering, as a process engineer, with assignments in research, and troubleshooting for heavy oil upgrading equipment. He holds a B.S. of Chemical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
